LED Wizard

this is the link to the wizard i used for my LED array. Remember that each LED you look at may or may not have different specs to it is best to check everything.

Top Tip: Most leds run best at 20mA and your car power supply will be about 14A with the alternator running ;)

STEP FOUR

  • solder like a mofo

STEP THREE

  • Design your pattern
  • mark it out with texta and then glue the LED with a SMALL DAB from a hot glue gun. ONLY PUT GLUE ON THE BASE OF THE LED and not on the board otherwise your pins will get glue on them and cause circuit problems.

STEP THREE

  • Design your LED Pattern. My pattern is in groups of 4. (for my circuit 4 LEDS = 1 resistor)
  • Mark it out with texta and remove the LEDS. Glue them in with a small dab from a hot glue gun. Do this in sections! Only put glue on the base of the LED, if you put the glue on the board you will get glue all over the pins and then you will have trouble with the circuit
